Meet the Jury of the 2018
He is the Deputy CEO and the Director of Programming at RTL Hungary. He graduated with a Doctor of Law degree from the Eötvös Loránd University in 1994 and a television presenter-director degree two years later from the University of Theatre and Film Arts in Budapest. In 2007 he received his DLA. Kolosi started his professional career in 1994 as a reporter, senior editor and presenter in several programmes like Kriminális, Múzsa, Objektív and Nap-Kelte at Magyar Televízió Rt. Since 1997 he has been working as a lecturer at the University of Theatre and Film Arts as well as for RTL and the launch of its first channel in Hungary, RTL Klub. He joined the station as the editor-in-chief and presenter of the daily show Fókusz, and in 2001 he became its programming director. He has been the deputy CEO at RTL Hungary since 2015.
Bence Trunkó is a member of the Board and the Chief Creative Officer at Paprika Studios. The production power house is a member of the Nordic Entertainment Group and has offices in ten countries throughout central and eastern Europe and the Baltics. As CCO of the company and from its headquarters in Budapest, Trunkó oversees the format development and adaptation in all of the Paprika regions. He graduated from the University of Drama and Cinematography in Hungary with a degree in broadcast media. Starting out as a scriptwriter, he worked as a freelancer for various TV stations in Hungary before gaining experience as a writer for the stage, feature films and radio shows, working with major advertising and creative agencies and publishing several books on the TV business. His current job includes setting up, controlling and supporting new creative divisions within the company, such as the Drama Department, the Digital Content Hub and the Trailer Park, Paprika’s brand new short form and promo division. Besides his corporate responsibilities, he still creates, writes and pitches new scripted concepts for major networks in the region.
David Clarke Media executive with 20 years of experience covering broadcasting, commissioning, distribution and production. He is currently the EVP Content for DRG as well as for Atrium TV. He was most recently the Head of Scripted Acquisitions and Co-Productions at ITV Studios Global Entertainment where he was responsible for managing the distribution business’ in-house and third-party pipeline of scripted content. This followed Stints at Shine Group as the Head of Global Format Acquistions, Cineflix Media as the Vice-President of Strategic Planning and as the Controller of UK Cable/Satellite Channels Bravo and Challenge, where he was responsible for all commissioning, acquisitions and scheduling.
A German film producer, television executive and commissioning editor. He has been running the drama departments of TV channels RTL2 and ProSieben, and was leading the production activities for companies such as Studio Babelsberg, Odeon AG and mecom fiction. Michael has worked many years in Central Eastern Europe and Russia. Since 2017, Michael oversees the fiction productions of CME’s market leading television channels in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania and Bulgaria.
Roope Lehtinen is a multi award-winning Executive Producer, Entrepreneur and Creator, known for Black Widows, Easy Living and Hooked. Easy Living has been remade in CEE by HBO Europe (Aranyélet).
Before starting his current company Fire Monkey, Roope Lehtinen was known as the founder and CEO of Moskito Television and co-founder and first CEO of Nice Entertainment Group, the biggest production group in the Nordics. His work has won more than 20 national drama awards and numerous international recognitions, including Prix Europa for Best European Drama.
